OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE, KAPURTHALA RECRUITMENT 2025

Applications are invited on plain paper, in the prescribed format (attached), including complete bio-data with contact number, mobile number, and email ID. The application must be accompanied by attested copies of relevant documents such as proof of qualification, date of birth, category certificate (if applicable), and two passport-size photographs—one of which must be affixed to the top right corner of the application.

Applications must be submitted to the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Kapurthala, no later than 23.06.2025 by 5:00 p.m.

These positions are being filled on an ad hoc basis for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court, whichever occurs earlier. Full details are provided below.

Note

Candidates who are applying for the post of Clerk shall have to take a written examination in the following subjects:

No candidate shall be considered for appointment unless he obtains 40% marks in aggregate in the written examination and has proficiency in operation of computers.

The candidates shall have to appear for test/examination along with proof of identity and other relevant original testimonials.
The candidates should be between the age of 18 to 37 years as on 01.01.2025. Relaxation in age will be given to the candidates who belong to reserved categories as per the instructions of the Hon’ble High Court as well as the instructions issued by the Punjab Government from time to time.
If no candidate from reserved category is found suitable then the said post will be offered to the candidate who belongs to General Category.
The candidates from all the categories can apply.
The office reserves the right to cancel or postpone the test/examination for the said posts owing to some administrative reasons without any prior intimation.
The Pay/Salary with regard to aforesaid posts of all categories, shall be admissible as per latest instructions issued by the Hon’ble High Court or by the Government of Punjab, as the case may be.
The number of posts may be increased or decreased.
The date of test/examination for the aforesaid posts will be displayed on the website of this Sessions Division i.e. https://kapurthala.dcourts.gov.in under the tab “Notices → Recruitments”. The candidates are directed to regularly check the official website of this office for any further information.
No separate letter will be issued with regard to the date of test/examination.
No T.A./D.A. will be paid.
