Punjab University Recruitment 2015-16

Punjab University Chandigarh invites applications for the recruitment of Guest Faculty for various subjects  till the end of ongoing session 2015-16. All eligible candidates have to attend Walk-in-Interview on 12.12.2015. Check the eligibility criteria, interview timings & other details given as.

Job Position : Assistant Professor for following subjects.

1. English : 5 Vacancies
2. Punjabi Prof. : 3
3. Physical Edu. : 1
4. Computer Science : 1
5. Commerce Prof. : 3
6. Sociology Prof. : 2
7. Political Science : 1
8. Economics : 2
9. History Prof. : 1

Recruiting Organization : Punjab University (PU), Chandigarh

Salary : Candidates who will selected as Guest faculty will be paid as Rs.1000 per lecture and max. Rs.25000 per month. 

Required Qualification : Candidate must fulfill following eligibility criteria

1. Candidate must passed Master Degree with atleast 55% Marks or equivalent Grade in point scale at master degree level from any reputed University. 
2. They must passed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC under UGC 2009 regulations.
3. But NET is not required for such discipline for which NET is not conducted.

Age Requirement : Candidate’s age restrictions not officially announced by University.

Selection Procedure : Candidates will be selected for above subjects till ongoing session 2015-16 through Personal Interview. 

Eligible candidates should have to attend Walk-In-Interview on 12.12.2015 at following address (given in official notification). Candidate should possess all the original certificates at the time of Interview.

• Interview held for all subjects on 12.12.2015 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A short time slice between 09:00 am – 5:00 pm is fixed for each subject’s interview. After that time slice no interview for that subject will be conducted. To know the timing details download recruitment notification.
