Chandigarh Police, invited applicants for the direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive), in Chandigarh Police. Driving & Computer Skills

Driving Skills is must. Possession of a valid driving license to drive both,2 wheeler and 4 wheeler, is mandatory for all candidates.

Computer Skills: Candidate should have basic knowledge of computer skills from any recognized institute.

Written Test/CBT Test/OMR Sheet Based Test

All candidates shall be put through a Computer Based Test/OMR Sheet Based Test(Tier 1-50 marks) and written test (Tier 2- 50 marks) in the following manner:

Tier-I Tier- II
Include General Knowledge/Current Affairs, I.T., IQ, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Ethics and
  1. Language Essay (English, Hindi, Punjabi)- 30 marks
  2. Language Skills(English)- 20 marks

Note: Negative Marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

Resolution of TIES

Ties is solved as follows:

  1. Total marks of Tier-I and Tier-II test
  2. Firstly, by date of birth, the older candidate getting advantage
  3. Secondly, by educational qualification, higher education getting advantage.

Important Information

Admit Cards: Shortlisted candidates will be issued separate Admit cards for PE&MT
