Central Railway Recruitment 2015
Central Railway released recruitment notification for vacancies against cultural quota. All eligible candidates have to apply online from 22.12.2015 – 06.01.2016. Check the eligibility criteria, selection procedure, job description & other details given below.
Job Description
Job Position : Group ‘C’ vacancies against Cultural Quota
- Western Instrument Player (Guitar/Keyboard)
- Classical Instrument Player (Harmonium/Violin or Santoor)

Remuneration : Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 5200 -20,200 + Grade pay Rs.2000.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualification : Must possess following qualifications.
For Post I : passed 12th Standard with minimum 50% Marks from recognized board/Inst. Candidates who belongs to SC/St or Possess higher qualifications will not required 50% Marks.
For Post II : Diploma/Degree specified instrumental music from reputed University/Inst.
Essential : Should be proficient in playing Filmy & Classical Hindi songs with certificate from reputed musical gp.
Age Requirement : 18 – 29 years for general, 18 – 32 for OBC, 18 – 34 for Sc/St candidates. Age relaxation for various other categories will also provide.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Examination followed by practical demonstration. For more details read official notification.

- Performance in testimonials (15 Marks)
