Eligibility Criteria for Punjab govt Teachers/Lecturers

Eligibility criteria for Punjab Govt Master cadre or Lecturers cadre recruitment 2015-16. Different Qualification required for both posts Master/Mistress & Lecturers post. Their Selection criteria is also different. So please check it carefully.

For Master/ Mistress Posts :

Required Qualification :

Applying Candidate must passed Bachelor Degree from any reputed University/Inst.
Must passed Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) from any reputed University.
Candidate must passed P.S.T.E.T-II test.

Age Requirement : Candidates age must be 18-37 years.

Selection Criteria : A Written Test of relevant subject will be conduct. Only those candidates who qualify P.S.T.E.T-II Test are eligible for above written test.

Written Exam contain total 150 Marks.
Qualifying Marks for General/UR category : 75 Marks
Qualifying Marks for SC/St category : 67

Criteria For Lecturers Posts :

Required Qualification :

Applying Candidate must passed Master Degree from any reputed University/Inst.
Must passed Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) from any reputed University.

Age Requirement : Candidates age must be 18-37 years.

Selection Criteria : For lecturers post, p.s.t.e.t qualify is not needed.

Two Written Tests will be conduct.
1st – Aptitude Test (150 Marks)
2nd – Test of relevant Subject (150 Marks).
Qualifying Marks for General/UR category : 75 – 75 Marks
Qualifying Marks for SC/St category : 67 – 67 Marks.

Application Fee : Application fee is same for above both posts.

For general/UR categories – Rs.700
For SC/St categories – Rs.350
