Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant Notification
Punjab police Intelligence Wing released recruitment notification for the post of Intelligence Assistant (Male/Female) in the rank of Constable to fill up 725 vacancies. Job Position : Intelligence Assistant (Constable Rank)

Remuneration : Rs.10,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs.3200
Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirement : Candidate’s age should be 21 – 28 years as on 01.01.2016. Age should be same for Male & Female candidates. No age relaxation given to any candidate.
Education Qualification :
- Candidate must passed BCA/B.Sc (IT) /B.E/B.Tech (CSE/IT/E&CE) or any other equivalent qualification (i.e post graduate diploma or post graduation in computer applications).
- Must passed Punjabi Subject upto Metric level.
Physical Measurement
Physical Measurement: Physical criteria For Male & Female both
Physical Criteria For Male Candidates :
- Height – minimum 5’5″ (5 feet 5 inch) for all candidates
- Minimum 800 m Race in 4.00 minutes (1 chance).
- Minimum 9 feet Long Jump (3 chance)
- 3 feet High Jump (3 chances)
Physical Criteria For Female Candidates :
- Height – minimum 5’1″ feet (5 feet 1 inch) for all categories
- Minimum 400 m Race in 2:00 minutes (1 chance).
- Minimum 6 feet Long Jump (3 chance)
- 2.5 feet High Jump (3 chances)
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in following 4 phases. Minimum Qualifying Marks in Written Exam – 50 for General and 40 for SC/ST/BC.

- Written Examination (100 Marks)
- Personal Interview (5 Marks)
